The quality of every product produced from a manufacturing industry cannot be separated from the role of the Quality Control department as a guarantor of every quality process from raw materials to finished products.
PT ICA has a QC department to guarantee and control the quality of each product produced so that the product can be accepted by customers in accordance with market demand for aluminum hydroxide (Al(OH)3) and aluminum oxide (Al2O3). The general description of the QC laboratory owned by PT. ICAs are as follows:
1. Competent analyst with field experience analysis and implementation of key product quality for aluminum oxide (Al2O3) and aluminum hydroxide (Al(OH)3)
2. Appropriate analytical instruments for quantitative and qualitative analysis of conventional methods e.g. titration, wet and dry sieving methods to modern analytical tools, namely Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP), Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS), Ion Chromatography (IC), UV-Vis spectrophotometry, X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Particle Size Analyzer (PSA), Specific Surface Area Analyzer (SSA) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM).
3. The ISO 9001:2015 quality management system is the basis of the work ethic and system of the QC department with guaranteed accuracy and precision for every product analysis.
4. Kaizen and PDCA as a way of life and a culture of continuous improvement from every QC Department personnel at PT ICA.
