PT Indonesia Chemical Alumina (ICA), together with the Pedalaman Village Government, DLHK West Kalimantan Province, DLH Sanggau District, and relevant stakeholders in the Tayan Hilir sub-district, conducted a tree planting activity along the banks of Sungai Putat and released 3,000 fish fry into Sungai Putat on Thursday, June 15, 2023.

This activity received a warm welcome from the Pedalaman Village Government, who expressed their hope for continued collaboration with PT ICA in preserving and managing the environment in the future.

PT ICA is also committed to supporting the Pedalaman Village Government in managing the land where the trees are currently being planted. The area will be developed into a camping ground for the local Scout organization in the Tayan Hilir sub-district.

Furthermore, PT ICA and the Pedalaman Village Government signed a cooperation agreement for the management of domestic waste, together with BUMDES Berambin Bepimpin. The agreement aims to effectively and responsibly manage domestic waste.

Through this collaboration, PT ICA and the Pedalaman Village Government have demonstrated their commitment to environmental preservation and positive contributions to the local community.
