Tayan, October 27, 2022. PT Indonesia Chemical Alumina received a visit from staffs and students majoring in Chemistry, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Tanjungpura University. The delegation included Dean of the Chemistry Faculty, the Secretary of the Chemistry Faculty, the Dean of the Master Program in Chemistryand several students majoring in Chemistry at Tanjungpura University.

During the visit, the delegation from Tanjungpura University toured the Tayan CGA plant as well as conducted sharing knowledge on the production process at PT ICA. The visit included areas of LCP, HPP and calcination. In addition, the delegation also visited the laboratory in which the delegation learnt product quality process and the technology used in product quality control. 

The visit aimed to establish cooperation in lectures, joint research and knowledge sharing between PT ICA and Tanjungpura University. PT ICA also views the activity as part of the company's role working with external parties, especially academics in West Kalimantan especially in information sharing and education on the CGA industry in Indonesia.
